This table uses true strokes-gained
and expected wins
(xWins) as two alternative ways of evaluating player performance.
While not perfect, these metrics do a better job of cutting through the randomness inherent to performance in golf.
: Expected wins statistics do not
include the WGC Match Play or Zurich Classic team events. Separate expected win models
are used for 4-round versus 3-round events; 2-round events are not included. Expected wins for players who
WD or are DQ'd after 3 or more rounds are included
