- Marco Penge withdrew, Chandler Phillips (1st alternate) replaced him in the field.
- Bud Cauley has qualified by getting inside the top 60 of the OWGR after his Canadian Open win.
- Hennie Du Plessis, Harry Higgs, Spencer Tibbits, Bryan Lee (a), and Jack Schoenberger (a) have been added from the alternate list to fill the field.
Jackson Koivun has announced he will turn pro and make his first start at the John Deere Classic.
This means he will no longer be in the Open Championship field via winning the Mark H. McCormack Medal (WAGR #1).
